Dark mode

Featured Replies

Hi, probably it has already been asked in another post but I could not find it.

Is there an option to view the forums in dark mode? If not, will it ever be implemented?

Thanks!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Latest update to Microsoft Edge browser allows it. In fact, I’m on their mobil version on IOS right now and viewing this in dark mode. Quite nicely done.

I can't find it in the settings, do you have to use an extension?

Thanks!

I use dark mode for everything.
There is a Windows 11 setting as well.

In Edge, select settings and type dark into the search box:

You do need an extension to darken the pages as well.
I use this one:

You will find it here

Then this forum looks like this:

You can see in the picture of the Edge settings, that one option in "overall appearance" is system default.
If you set Windows to "dark" mode, you will find that many of your apps will follow suit and save you the trouble of searching for solutions.
