September 20, 20232 yr I am very sorry for not being present on the forum for some time. I deeply regret that I am no longer able to provide any further support for LINDA. This includes commenting online, providing solutions, future updates or answering direct messages. Users are asked to offer advice to any posts. Existing downloads will remain available for present but none will be updated. My apologies to all loyal users over past years - I have enjoyed supporting the flight simulations community. October 14, 20232 yr Thanks for the many years of support. Is there any scope for another developer picking up the maintenance in the future? Mark Fox

There will be no one taking over support of LINDA. Certainly the FSUIPC developer won’t be interested. The LUA code is open sourced and anyone can contribute to updates or new modules. The core UI code requires specialist skills, tools and knowledge. October 18, 20232 yr I'd certainly be interested in at least a potential conversation about it at some point - I'm a recently retired C/C++ dev (I'm assuming that's what it's been built in - if it's VB I'd unfortunately be lost). I spent most of my career in embedded systems development, but the last few before stopping working professionally involved Lua as a Train Simulator addon developer, even if nothing comes of it, it would be a shame if bug-fixing/maintenance ceased for such a useful tool. Obviously the important thing is this though: At the end of the day it's your code, and your decision what happens - and I respect that above all else. Edited October 18, 20232 yr by markdf Mark Fox
