OV10 Bronco released (Freeware)

Whoa!  I love the Bronco.  Thanks @Waldo Pepper for the heads-up!

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Just downloaded and had a quick fly around, its a great handling machine and looks really good from the cockpit in VR, great for low level stuff, as you'd expect.

Thanks for the tip off, I've always liked the look of these things since I saw some  parked up in Indonesia when I was working there.

Thanks for the heads up.  Was always glad when Black Pony arrived overhead to help take care of things.

I have just been flying this with the addition of Archers improved cameras.

For freeware, this is very good.

Some payware developers could take note of how he has modelled the props and prop spinners - they look superb.
No stupid strobe or flicker effect, but you can still make them out, and the hazard bands, while the spinners don't wobble about like the mess we get on some aircraft.
The prop feathering is in there as well.  This should be the benchmark for propeller effect modelling - it is done that well.

If this freeware developer can do it, why can't the payware developers do it.  The props on the Just Flight Arrows for instance are very poor compared to this.

The ground handling and suspension effect is also good, as well as the general modelling of the aircraft and external texturing.

It needs an update for things like some switches working the wrong way etc.  And maybe the glass on the instruments is a little too reflective, but the sharpness and texturing are good, with some wear and tear.

All in all though, superb for freeware.
