Haven't yet decided if I'll buy the 767... but I'm tempted

If I were you, I'd probably wait a little longer - there's usually a big sale between December and March.

I got it during one of their $10 sales. With that price, yes, it was worth every single cent. Usually there may be one between Black Friday (Nov 24th this year, I guess) and Christmas.

Most defiantly wait for a better price. $80 and that being a sale price, regularly $134 is IMHO way over the top for this aircraft. I may take a serious look at the 757 if the next sale brings the price to a reasonable level.

I once thought they had turned the corner on their predictable old modus operandi of getting about 80% there, then promising and then summarily abandoning future fixes in favor of the next project when they supported the 757 in P3D with a respectable series of updates and fixes over an extended period.

I was wrong.  The 767 was never completed as promised, and their antics with SimZilla add-ons--e.g. plunking default 4-engine 747 panel gaugeware into a 2-engine jet, or an A320 panel into a Boeing 717, make them a laughing stock from the perspective of someone who actually takes simming seriously.

The 757 in its current, final state is well-enough finished that I think it's worth getting on sale at a deep discount if you really want a 757 in P3D.  The 767...not so much.  The promised cargo version never materialized and there are other shortcomings that were not (and never will be) fixed.

Caveat Emptor (let the buyer beware) applies.

Agree with Bob.  It was very disappointing that CS never released a proper 767 cargo variant as promised.

however I still think both the 757 and 767 are decent planes, and are definitely worth the price if/when CS puts them on sale for $9.99.

I totally agree with Bob about the 757. But I just installed v1.7 (Base, Freighter and RR expansion) and have a big mess.
The RR Freighter models alias still to the PW panel in the panel.cfg. Passenger Models are ok.
Could someone check this?
So I went ahead and changed the cfg .... but then is the landing gear gone
