JustFlight PA28 Turbo Arrow III/IV Update to XP12

Featured Replies

Today i started an update with SkunkCrafts Updater. The versionnummer didn't change but some new files was installed. After updating i load up the PA28 and got the message that i installed an XP11.acf an if i want to change to the XP12 .acf.

After this change the PA28 worked very fine in a testflight. Also the problem with the GTN750 is solved.

Thanks at JustFlight.

Can confirm that this is genuine, although there is no official word on this from JustFlight on their homepage or in their store. Therefore I assume it's a beta or slipped out by accident.

A test flight later, I can confirm that the Turbo Arrow and its Reality Expansion Pack work well in XP12.

Now THAT'S the ticket!

Hopefully JF will also get around to updating graphics (will help their sales to new customers), but this suits me fine for now.

I don't think they will pour any major work into the Arrows unless they see a notable pick up in sales. The current update even has a major issue with the windscreen object's UV mapping when it rains (you'll see) and I have the lingering feeling that even this will not be fixed.

On the upside, anything outside of SASL (which was the crucial element in the XP12 update) is fixable, as long as one gets permission to release any modified files.
