December 2, 20232 yr Using MSFS on a PC. My current stick/throttle are pretty shot there where the thrustmaster hotas one or something very similar. Right now I fly the fenix a320 quite a bit. In the future I will be flying pmdg aircraft and I have the comanche 250 and will probably pick up the tbm 850 at some point. I was thinking about getting thethrustmaster tca officer pack. Is there a different product I should look at? Not trying to break the bank but I can get the officer pack for around $140 which seems reasonable. Just not sure how well it will work with non airbus planes or if its more of a gimmick and there is a better product to pick up for flying. I don't have rudder pedals. Maybe in the future I will pick those up but right now just focusing on stick and throttle. Edited December 2, 20232 yr by red259
December 9, 20232 yr I have it and I enjoy it very much. Talk about adding to immersion factor. I'll assume you know all the juicy bits. Almost everything can be tweaked. It should last my lifetime, it's that well built. Works out of the box without the drivers and firmware, if you are so adverse. I tried it with my QW787 and my A2A Cherokee with no issues, although I had to assign functions again after upgrading from the Logitech throttle quadrant. The TM throttles are x and y axis . The price you found is excellent. I paid about $100 more.

Technically any standard joystick (which the Officer Pack certainly is) will work with any MSFS plane. As for the immersion factor- all the Boeing planes as well as most of the GA ones are using the yoke which gives a totally different control feeling. So you'll have to decide what you want- a true-to-life control type or just a good joystick to fly any plane you like.
