December 4, 20232 yr If I turn this off and shut down the sim and then start it again it's always back on. It's driving nuts. Why is it doing this? Anyone else seeing this behaviour? 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2
December 4, 20232 yr Why would you want to turn it off? One of the in-sim 'version' docs that you can pop up (along with a SU summary from a good while ago) states:- "NanoVG is now the default redering protocol for XML gauges". Fair enough the option is still there is the settings, but maybe they just don't want you to turn it off. It's pretty universally better with it on. Especially if you use the GTN Xi and other complex XML gauges. Irrelevent when the product you use doesn't use XML gauges and NanoVG causes issues. 9 minutes ago, JYW said: Fair enough the option is still there is the settings, but maybe they just don't want you to turn it off. Weird logic. If they didn't want me to turn it off they would remove it. They left it in because it can cause issues which I have just shown that it does. 10 minutes ago, JYW said: It's pretty universally better with it on. Blacksquare and the TBM disagrees. 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2
