December 5, 20232 yr I loaded the SR22 after the update and the PFD & MFD screens are very dim and unreadable. Does anyone else have this problem. I tried using the instrument brightness knob but all get is a flicker. To test, I loaded the G1000 C172 and the screens display correctly. Thanks, Mike
December 5, 20232 yr I had this issue with the original - unusable. Great shame if this hasn't been fixed. December 5, 20232 yr Commercial Member Instrument dial knobs, right next Ice protection switches works ok for me.
December 6, 20232 yr Apparently this is an old bug related to auto brightness settings on the G1000. To “fix” it, you need to press the menu button on the PFD (right bezel) then change brightness from auto to manual. Chris

I have some other issues on my system such as aircraft with operable doors, not opening. I tried a simple uninstall/reinstall but that did not work either so I think I am going to have to do a clean install.
December 6, 20232 yr OK my problem related to the Bravo throttle bindings. There is a conflict where a panel switch isn't a simple on or off eg a dimmer dial or an off auto on. In the cirrus and also in the Horizon 787 had to unbind my bravo button settings. Bruce Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened."
