The King Air in Red...

Featured Replies

I don't know why but the Title seems to rhyme with a famous Movie of the 80s...๐Ÿ™‚...Oh well...Anyway, to spice up a bit my (mundane and default) Beechcraft King Air 350i (I really need to get a better version of it on my Xbox when/if available...I like this a/c a lot...), I picked up today a set of new liveries of this a/c. In this livery pack, there are a few brightly colored repaints, including the Firecrackerย "Red" shown below in my images...ย

I'm recalling an old trip of mine here...I've had my share of driving miles within U.S. (it was my preferred mode for domestic travel as opposed to air, surely no longer so...) ...I was thinking a bit today...the 3 cars I recall wellย with (100k + 150k + 225k) miles, the total 475k miles is just about equal toย a roundtrip to/from the Moon (478k miles) ...๐Ÿ™‚...However, my travels into neighbor Canada have been very limited... (only just across the border so-to-speak). One (road) trip into Canada I recall well was (Detroit -> Toronto -> Ottawa -> Montreal)...Actually, I'd passed by 3 of the 5 Greak Lakes on that trip (Lake Michigan, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario), with (Lake Superior and Lake Huron) excluded...You'll see Lake Ontario in one of my shots below.

So, for this post, I have tested the new (vivid Red) color of my King Air 350i, with a short flight for part (from Toronto [CYYZ] to Ottawa [CYOW]) of that bygone trip of mine, a distance here of only about 300 miles.

Hope you enjoy these 12 images of the King Air in these bright red colors...Thanks for viewing...!

Like The color.

Thank you...! There are a few others, here, besides me,ย who are also fond of such vivid red colors on their (virtual) a/c...๐Ÿ™‚...

Your title immediately brought to mind "La Vie en Rose." But alas, no Edith Piaf here ๐Ÿ™‚. That livery really stands out against those wonderfully detailed scenes passing underneath.

Fine pics! ๐Ÿ˜‰ย

Yup, blending color, nice shots - thanks for showing..

cheersย ๐Ÿ˜‰

Your analogy is actually better, John....๐Ÿ™‚.... didn't think of it...I was thinking more of the Gene Wilder's film from 1984 ...๐Ÿ™‚ย ...

Thanks, and welcome. The color might require sunglasses, if it were any brighter...๐Ÿ™‚...
