You can put it anywhere you like. The C:\XboxGames folder is the default choice you get when you click change drive. I moved mine to E:MSFS\MSFS.

Go into the Xbox app. Click on MSFS and to the right of the green play button you will see a button with 3 dots on it. Click that, and select "Manage". Then click where it says "Files" and then click "Change Drive". It is a misleading label because it will let you move MSFS to any drive and folder you want.
