Assistance Settings and Azure

Featured Replies

After using MSFS with no issues yesterday, started up this morning and all my assistance settings were reset to EASY.  After resetting them I have run the sim several times and each time losing the Azure speech to text service.

Why do these things keep happening to people?  Do we all have dodgy systems or is it ASOBO and MS screwing things up again and again?  Is there a known cause?

Yeah, it seems to have been a bug for a very long time along with the servers being overloaded for updating, unable to stream bing maps on ocassions.

Almost from the launch, people were asking for a replay mode but all we have is the one in developer mode which is not a lot of use.

One of those "why can't these settings be saved locally as well as on the cloud for backup?" things, I've had it happen a couple of times over the years and I still struggle to see why we can't have these saved on our PCs.
