Are the Norway treefix add-ons relevant anymore?

I had them installed, three add-ons in total: North Norway, middle and south. No longer available from Flightsim.to.

I was surprised, for example, that there were no trees at all in Lofoten. When I removed the treefixes, trees appeared, although maybe the wrong species and in some places a little dirt. However, the end result is closer to real landscapes, so I left the treefixes out of the sim.

If Norway could get an accurate add-on that would remove trees from mountains where no trees grow, I would be satisfied. In addition to that, the quality of aerial photos in several areas is poor and sometimes the terrain is photographed in winter. Norway's new 1 meter DEM, on the other hand, is excellent almost everywhere, so the rest of the terrain should also be better in many places. Tatu's egoregions for the Nordic countries are installed.

To be fair, there seem to be too many trees virtually everywhere.

The Norway tree fix files, gives us a more realistic landscape in Norway. There are almost no trees  in Lofoten, so the fix gives a more realistic landscape than FS2020 without the fix.

 

 

Knowing Norway and especially the Lofoten are almost stripped of trees, there are some around the villages. It is a problem known since always, MSFS is incoherent with the implentation of the vegetation on all the Nordic countries, Alaska, Scandinavia, Iceland, Siberia.
I have tried all possibilities to reduce the number of trees without success. This is an internal problem to the Sim. This problem will be fixed in MSFS 2024.
