January 2, 20242 yr I was trying to correct one problem and created another... I deleted all traces of the 208 in my Community folder and deleted the 208 from my One Store (MS) folder... I rebooted and started the sim...MS duly noted that the 208 was not there and downloaded it....I checked the one store folder...when I went to fly the 208, t did not show up my list of planes....help please, John Helms
January 2, 20242 yr Moderator Go into the content manager and see if it's activated there. also try going Windows settings - Apps - MS FlightSimupator - Advanced - REPAIR - do not select RESET. see if that helps RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
January 2, 20242 yr Author It is activated in Content Mgr....I am using W-11... I do not see MS FlightSimulator-Advanced--Repair... John Helms
January 2, 20242 yr Just to confirm, are you looking under the correct name? For the default C208, in my standard MSFS install, it's listed under "Texitron Aviation Cessna 208 B Grand Caravan Ex"
January 3, 20242 yr The only other things I can think to try are just the generic shot in the dark fix-its, which you may already have tried anyway: First, rename or otherwise empty your Community folder (easy enough if you use Addon Linker), restart the sim, and then see if the C208 shows. If so, then one of the addons in your Community folder is running interference. If still no C208, then go into the Content Manager, uninstall the C208, go out of the sim, restart, go back to the Content Manager, and re-install the C208. If none of those work, then sorry, I'm out of ideas..
January 3, 20242 yr This ??? Quote https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/plane-disappeared-from-hangar-solved/583353/3 Hokfujow Apr '23 I’ve solved this issue finally after countless wasted hours. There is a marketplace activity called Adventum Tours Hawaii that renames the default Caravan so that it no longer appears as a Caravan and can no longer be searched that way either. Instead it turns the Caravan into Aventum. I actually thought this was an obscure plane - never occurred to me that this was the source.
