Some other observations:1. After accessing the menu in screen mode the mouse pointer freezes and then for about 30 to 45 seconds the disk light flickers and then up comes the error signature or it just freezes permanently requiring a hard boot.2. In window mode in the cockpit, in flight, looking outside everything is rock solid and now even in a sharp turn micro-stutters are absent. However, in Tower view in a fly past I

Woz,How did you get into windowe'd mode? every time I hit the Alt key which brings up the menu, my sys locks up, not giving me a chance to Alt+Enter....Ken
