FSDG FSIA Runway 31 ILS Heading

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Just purchased the FSDG Seychelles scenery and FSIA's runway 31 ILS heading is a little off.  I think there's a little mag variation between FSX/early P3D and P3dv5, which may account for it.

I assuming to fix it, I need to edit the AFD file.  I looked at it with an AFD editor - I'm just wondering what the best practice on modifying the ILS approach data is to fix this (re: what settings, modifying a stock ILS, etc.)

Appreciate any guidance,

Daniel

You could ask Hervé Sors for some help...

ILS and runway saved in AFD data is all in true heading, so magvar should not have any impact on it, unlike VOR then.

And then most VOR irl lack updates based on magvar ....

But Hervé has available tools that will make it easy to edit and update any values.

His routines only change the default data though, not the addon airfields I guess....

(I believe the OP already got Hervé's support ...)

Hervé is always a Reference!!! Someone I'm privileged to know since the good old times of fs9 and of our missed friend Ron Freimuth.
