Simple question: can I fly with the mouse?

I have searched extensively in this and other forums and have not found a clear answer. I am partly disabled and cannot use a joystick.I use FSX and have long since learned to substitute the mouse and it works fine. I just ordered MSFS 2020 and now I'm feeling like a [prohibited word] because I was assuming that, well, of course I should also be able to do the same thing in MSFS, right?

I do not know if this is any help at all to you, but have are you using the "Legacy" mouse option? In the general settings and Accessibility tab, one of the options says “Lock” change that to “Legacy”.

I don't think you can by default.   But someone released a script a couple of years ago that you run before you launch MSFS.    It allows you fly with your mouse, as it fools MSFS into thinking that your mouse is also a controller:-

You do need to download and install a free program called Python in order to run the above script.
