Controllers are nothing to do with aircraft have you tried third party software. I always select my PMDG aircraft on starting a flight never use a default aircraft in P3Dv5.

I’m sure Ray means a default aircraft in the default scenario screen then choose study level aircraft then start the flight. Not start first with default aircraft then change plane in sim.

I always have P3D go to the flight setup screen this gives you the option to select any aircraft installed in the sim. that`s when i select my PMDG aircraft, and the sim is set to PC time and season, I may change the time of day that`s why I don`t use ORBX TrueEarth no season.

That’s the Scenario screen. What is the aircraft present at that point?
