Ini A300-600: setting FCU altitude in 100s?

Featured Replies

It's almost embarrassing, but despite flying the life out of this lovely airliner, I simply cannot find a way to adjust the altitude in 100s, in the FCU.  All I get is 2000, 3000, etc.   Can't find a clickspot or any other way to change the altitude scale.

Anyone got any clues?

You can click on the top of the rotary (note upwards arrow) and it wil change in 100s mode.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Assuming you have not made any adjustments to your MSFS mouse control settings, a simple right click on the mouse should change the mode from 1000's to 100's. (Doing so and you will physically see the switch motion change/depress.)

Personally, I haven't been able to get my landing altitude to adjust to 10's of feet...it seems to default to 100's. Hasn't stopped me from enjoying this aircraft though...   🙂

Took a lot of fumbling around for me to figure this out. And every time after flying the Fenix for a while, I get confused... again.

Thanks.  I saw that little arrow.  But was getting confused with the A320s and thought that would put the aircraft into selected mode 😄

The ini A300 is hands down my favourite airliner in MSFS now.  Yes, for me it even pips the Fenix. Not for any objective reason; I just find the cockpit textures a little nicer and it feels very convincing as an 80s airliner.  Love it.   (Love the Fenix too, it's No.2 for me).
