MilViz F-86 virtual cockpit bug

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Just downlaoded and installed the F-86 addon from MilViz. Everything works fine except the virtual cockpit under DX10 preview mode, as shown in the attached screenshot. I already have the free DX10 fixer addon installed. Anyone knows how to fix it?

Will it work OK if you turn off the DX-10 preview?

Yes. But I get much lower frame rates in DX9. I'd like to make it work in DX10.

It looks like the freeware version of DX10 fixer isn't fixing the problem.  You may need the payware version.

Unfortunately it looks like the Payware DX10 Fixer has been discontinued.

I tried this in native dx10 preview and it seems fine, so I presume that this is side effect of the freeware dx10 shader patches rather than anything to do with Milviz. I can see no issues with the real fixer.
