Constant disconnect followed by reconnect

Hello,

Flying along just fine. Great flight up to this point. Suddenly,  got the red connection lost message. 15 seconds later the green connected message. Then 15 to 20 seconds later the red connection lost message, it’s now cycling connection lost, then connected. No other internet issues with any browser on the same pc or any other device connected to the same network, could this be an issue wit a ms server or something more local with my fs2020 install? I’ve never had this before.

Yeah, this has happened to me a few times and also never been sure whether it is my ISP or MS servers causing the issue especially at peak times.

I have had some success in using a VPN to switch to another part of the world where everyone is asleep (Usually S Korea), which might offer a clue.  The VPN is rarely as fast as my usual one, of course but is good enough (NORDVPN).

Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

I had a couple of those this morning, so it is probably an MS server issue.

Me too, since yesterday in my case. It might also cause pause on my end.

However, downloading the 28 April update today was surprisingly fast. I usually had 2-3 mbps but this time it was 30sh mbps.

I think that they have resolved the "2Mbps download speed" problem. I have installed the last couple of updates and two or three MS Marketplace products recently, and all of them have downloaded at a minimum of 20Mbps right from the start.
