I have tried to copy the formatting too but it just isn't showing anything.. 1 sec, I'll post some images and maybe you can see what I am doing wrong... You did not define anything to show - I'm not sure what I am looking at? You have to create at least one "text definition" that shall display the variable containing the value that you are changing. You have to configure your own background as an "image defintion" on the lowest layer. LORBY-SI

"Add..." clears all input fields so you can enter the next definition. Provide a header, upload the image, "Save" the definition, then "Submit" the Action LORBY-SI

And nothing will, there is no option in the Elgato software to open additional input windows etc. What you are looking at is bascially a webpage, that is all we get. This button just clears the input fields, so you can enter a new header for the new defintion, enter new variables, "Save" the new definition. Then press "Add" again to enter the next definition (call them "layers" if you prefer, because that is what they are). LORBY-SI

I would suggest naming the first image definition for example "background". Once created, these headers will be visibile in the combo box above, so you can select one if you want to change it. May 8, 20242 yr Author 1. Is this my Background image on the lowest layer? 2. What do I enter here and how? 3. Is this right? This is my icon text variable that works with a Rotary Encoder Ryzen 5800X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 4090, Windows 11Link to my: Dynamic Flight Dispatch Tool
May 8, 20242 yr Commercial Member I would strongly suggest that you consult the "LorbyAxisAndOhs_Elgato_Plugin.pdf", the part about the MultiGauge where I build an animated gauge from the ground up. The procedure is the same for the RotaryEncoderCanvas, just the image size is different (200x100px). It would be a good idea to resize your own pictures accordingly to save the plugin some processing effort. LORBY-SI

Don't forget to "Save" each definition, and to "Submit" the action with the button at the bottom of the dialog 2. Same as with the images. I already wrote it above. Press "Add", enter a Header, then your variable, then "Save" this definition (it has its own Save button), then "Submit" the action 3. Looks OK to me LORBY-SI
May 8, 20242 yr Author I think the Stream Deck software has a bug, I need to switch Profiles (like you suggested) to see the changes that I have made.. Thank you for your help, I still do not understand in what order I am supposed to do what to create a Rotary Encoder Canvas for example for Heading display. I can make it work for Rotary Encoder but the image upload / header / text definition has confused me completely. I have read pg 20 of the manual and will try and solve this puzzle.
