We have a request into Asobo to improve SimConnect so we know when ATC is transmitting. Once we have that we can pause the chatter.

At the moment, I'm using it with Beyond ATC. So if there was a setting that would add like 5 seconds for the chatter to be back on after a mic transmission. 

Is Beyond ATC playing the chatter, or does it have its own chatter? Can you post a screen shot of that setting?

BATC does not have their work chatter. For chatter I'm using Stick and Rudder Studios FS ATC Chatter

Do you use a joystick button for the mic? Maybe there is a way we can read that along with BATC.

Yes I use the trigger button on my thrustmaster Airbus joystick for the mic

I use the exact same combo as Bill A, Beyond ATC with a joystick mapping for talking to ATC, and FS ATC Chatter for chatter, and although I was able to map the joystick button to toggle ATC Chatter (which works great), the suggestion to have a pause of a few seconds before ATC Chatter resumes would be great! Seconding this request.

Looks like the same thing for SayIntentions AI. I use the toggle pause "SRS/X-ATC-Chatter/Toggle_Playback" as you suggested in another post Mark, to temp stop X-ATC chatter when I'm engaged with SayIntentions AI. I have a dual rocker switch on my Boeing yoke, up pauses/un-pauses X-ATC Chatter while down is my push to talk button.
