June 8, 20241 yr This is VERY interesting: "When asked about the number of players on each platform, Jorg was unable to specify a number (due to internal Microsoft rules), but said that the split between PC/Xbox users fluctuates. He said, it can vary but hovers around the 60/40 split, sometimes even 50/50"
June 8, 20241 yr I wish I could remember which Discord I was reading, probably the FS Forum, but there were a number of comments pointing out that while many Xbox users were more than happy with the MSFS experience, there are those who have become tilted toward the more study level products and wanted hardware speciality or, were frustrated with products distributed on Market Place for PC only or, not available on the Market Place at all. These users were shifting their experience to PC. No one knows what the numbers look like, but I imagine it's a bit like pouring a fuel/water mixture into the tank. They eventually separate into their own levels. Cheers Terry No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea. Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower! I think it's a great thing to see such a large percentage of both.
June 8, 20241 yr I have noticed quite a number that were just Xbox players, but have now, or intend to switch to PC. Most citing better performance, and the ability to access those addons that are only available to PC users. This is great imo, as it does mean more and more Xbox players are becoming simmers, and enjoying the hobby., AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive
June 8, 20241 yr After the mess they've made for Xbox players in SU15 a lot more might be converting to PC, guessing that's a reason why suddenly SU16 is coming out this summer and not next year like they said last Q&A.
