Hi 

looking to get some of these

I wear varifocals,  short sighted with a little astigmatism.

Has anyone in the uk got a set? Which company did you use and can you recommend them ?

I don't have the Quest, but I have lenses for by my Reverb G2 (and before it, the Reverb Gen 1) and my Pico 4, all three sets from 'VR Optician'.  The VR headsets use just the distance vision and so it is that from your prescription that you use but if I remember correctly any astigmatism is also sorted.

 

I got a set for my Quest 2 from VR Lens Lab in 2021. I used them for only a few hours - they had very noticable and distracting distortion around the edges. My prescription is around -6 and I don't get severe distortion with my regular glasses. But the distortion on the VR lenses was absolutely too much and they were unusable for me. That was unfortunately 150 Euros down the drain.

Thanks James , ordered !   Like your father I was using it less and less faffing around with  my glasses . Risking scratching them etc 😎
