July 12, 20241 yr Is there anybody who can tell me what i have to edit to increase the max brightness of these instruments? The actual maximum "allowed" brightness of the garmin glass instruments (g1000/3000) for me is too dark under bright conditions. All airplanes with these instruments (C172, DA40, DA62, TBM...) are not really usable or fun to use this way, exept for arcade flying... I spent some hours with tryal and error, but was not able to find the relevant edits. (hope is last man standing...)
July 12, 20241 yr If all of your aircraft with Garmin displays are too dark, might I suggest the issue is perhaps with the brightness on your monitor? 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
July 13, 20241 yr Author Its not the monitor - just the limited brightnessrange set in the software for the instruments. (Would be easy for the developer to change the limits in the software to a range that enables everybody to set the instrument/gauge-brightness to his likings - but instead they force people like me to waste a lot of time searching and testing themselfs - and maybe in the next "development"-update they change it again - like they did several times - and the journey starts again. Pure Ignorance!)

So perhaps it would help if you said what aircraft you're struggling with but lose the attitude, Working Title have done more for this simulator than any other Partner of Asobo so show a little respect 🙂 Edited July 13, 20241 yr by MarcG Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)
July 17, 20241 yr Author well, seems im the one who is not respected... i clearly wrote what gauges and planes i have problems with - but as always in this and other forums inbetween, poeple respond to say their own opinion without even reading the post.. on the other hand - did working title react to me (or some others in the past with this same issue)? - never ever. but its ok, my fault - and i got help in my own comunity outside this forum inbetween. so you can close this thread and hail to the glorious "developers" ;-))
