August 2, 20241 yr I am using a freeware add-on for KLEX. I've noticed that I get very different results in the LNM parking map if I add the Community folder in the database options dialog. With the Community folder specified I appear to only get those parking spots that are included in the add-on. Without it, I appear to get only the default parking spots for KLEX. Also, 'With Community folder' contains more entries in Data Sources than the without. It appears that LNM searches the Community folder by default, but I get very different results in the add folder. Interestingly, both MSFS and Flow Pro's Portal feature pick up on the correct parking spots. Any thoughts on why the difference. Thanks.. Edited August 2, 20241 yr by airernie

Alex Agreed, but for some reason LNM isn't picking up the correct parking positions (top image) when using the default scan (bottom image) as illustrated in the two images that I posted. I guess the question is 'why?'. Ernie Edited August 2, 20241 yr by airernie
August 2, 20241 yr GSX is a typical candidate to exclude from loading in LNM options. It often causes trouble. You can modify the order by renaming the folders. MSFS does not give a special order when reading stuff. 8 minutes ago, airernie said: I guess the question is 'why?' I need the link to the add-on or the add-on to find out. Alex My apologies Alex, I find that I'm frequently guilty of scanning messages instead of reading; It looks like taking GSX out of the scan might have solved the issue. However, here is the link if you want to follow up;; https://flightsim.to/file/3985/klex-blue-grass-airport-1-0 Edited August 2, 20241 yr by airernie

I excluded both as a precaution, rather than experimenting. I'm thinking that world-of-jetways was creating the issue since it has scenery .bgl files in it for each airport. August 4, 20241 yr This is how it looks here. First is stock and next is the add-on. The add-on seems load fine and the airport structure is contained in only one BGL. Ignore the Linux paths.
