I take my headsets off when I'm done with ops (taxiing to parking, for example). I am severely hard of hearing though so sometimes I will opt to not wear headsets when I can't hear well (like this day)I know I didnt land right at the beginning of the runway but I have most of my experience in PA-28's so I am still getting used to flying 172's... plus this was only my second time flying at this airport. It was a FUN day though... I got some great landings :) Too bad he missed my flyby though... he tried to take a picture and forgot to do the camera when I did my flyby.
