August 24, 20241 yr I've been using the FSLTL & Injector for a few months and I think it's excellent. However, I've read that AIG's latest version is even better and the new OCI allows a full bulk download. I'm doing it as I write and it's taking a long time. Can the OCI bulk install be stopped and resumed on another day? It looks like it's taking an 1 hour for 100 flight plans. I don't want to wait 10 more hours. Thank. Jose MSFS
August 24, 20241 yr I'd be wary about a massive bulk install as there are many times where it does require your input for certain liveries. I'd go with small groups of airlines at a time and check on it every now and then. It does slow down often as one of the hosting sites is very well known to have speed issues. Usually when it does that I cancel that airline, move on and come back to it another time. It actually happened to me a couple of days ago. I tried it again a few hours later and it blazed right through with no speed issues at all. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

Maybe half way point according to the bar. Is doing General Aviation (GBR) I might stop it after the next major airline. MSFS
August 24, 20241 yr You can select in the menue of AIM that manual downloads are skipped. Like this, you can basically let it run in the background for hours and then add a manual session for the rest. I have all 1700+ flightplans installed and would not like to miss it. I stopped after 7 hours. It seemed to be half way done with manual downloads skipped checked. I then downloaded a few more airlines that I wanted to check out. About 40 GIGS and 7-8 hours later, I decided to check it out with the FSLTL Injector. The sim took about 2 minutes more to load. I'm assuming loading times will be even higher with every FP and airline installed. In the sim with FSLTL injector, same settings as with the FSLTL fleet, there were a few more airliners in the Tampa Bay area. Performance was about the same as FSLTL, but I noticed some weird looking contrails. The OCI has been dramatically improved and the downloads seem to be occurring quicker, even though at times OCI installer stopped responding. If I had to do it again, I'd just download my favorite airlines. I think for P3D, I only had about 100 flight plans downloaded. I don't think that every flight plan is needed to enjoy AIG AI Traffic. It all comes down to the number of liveries installed, the number of FP's wont have any noticeable impact at all. You should also get better performance as the AIG models are to spec with the current MSFS SDK whereas the FSLTL fleet use only 2 LODs as well as most use 4k textures which chew much further into your VRAM. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
