October 3, 20241 yr FWIW, due to production stop, there is a shortage of 7800X3D processors currently, so the their price is 2x what they were a few months ago.
October 3, 20241 yr Interesting how so many YouTubers claimed AMD were not going to produce a high end GPU … which was NEVER actually said by anyone at AMD … what they said is their focus will be mid-tier GPUs which makes perfect sense … in fact AMD indicated there will be a high end GPU coming in 2025. And now, the AMD 8900XTX GPU confirmed (officially) with the usual claims of performance domination. The marketing games these manufacturers play. There was another leak that there will be a AMD 9900XTX GPU in 2025 also. So figure Feb 2025 new build post dust settled on performance testing. Edited October 3, 20241 yr by CO2Neutral
