Reading the manual as ever, I see the line

PRESS AND HOLD THE SHIFT KEY THEN RIGHT CLICK THE TOP EDGE

Not unexpectedly, this does nothing but bring up the default P3d view menu.

I know the settings are SAVED in the ini file but how do I create them in the first place when I cannot start the 'wizard' from the plane?

IMO this option screen should have been located also in the RXP menu so that you can always access it.

At the moment I'm using a Lancair Legacy with one 530 in it. Looks fine but cant ASSIGN most GPS functions due to not being able to access the above applet and the dials are hellish to turn need activate legacy controls also.

Hi @sloppysmusic,

Unfortunatelly I don't have the 530 series, I do have the 750/650 series though and I can say it's a tricky proposition to locate the click spot to open the config window.

And I do totally agree with your point of the link should also have been in the menu.

In anycase @gaab has the 530 v2 and he's provided 530 v2 configurations for the MilViz DHC2 updates, perhaps he can advise further.

Cheers

Cheers mate for the reply! Spent the whole day messing mostly with the gtn in the RealAir Dukes i pretty much gave up for now on more than my basic gns setup but you've given me hope I can improve this. In the gtn all the umm intuitive panel configs failed I had to make manual entries or copy files from here to get good results.

My goal is to use my honeycomb Bravo rotate knobs to trigger the gns tuning dials. They are just buttons really and I have fsuipc (and Linda) so if there's a way I'll get it done.

Thanks again. Much appreciated.

I have no issue to use this. Very handy.

Ensure the "hand" appears (replacing the usual arrow) before clicking.

I am not home, but I am almost sure to have seen it in the RXP menu.

I will check when I am back home in two weeks.

Thanks. I've seen no hand I guess. Doesn't help that this was coded back when HD not 4k was standard so all these little icons are tiny. Wonder if dpi scaling can help?

Also the popups can be so tiny they are unusable. The app won't let me resize over 200 pixels. Bizarrely the gtn I managed to shoehorn into a gns 530 panel in the Duke B60 looks best of all overall without touch screen of course. I sized it and centred it using many panel.cfg tweaks and the pop up IS a perfect size.
