Aircraft Behavior

Featured Replies

Hi Fellow simmers-

I have a problem. When I select an aircraft from the list and then go to fly it, as soon as i apply throttle, the plane suddenly turns either to the left or right and I cant steer it. Has anybody here experience this problem? What do I need to do? Any help or suggestions would be kind. Thank you.

What are you using to apply throttle? Any hardware or keys?

Also is this all ac or just a couple? Makes it easier to diagnose if it's all.

Hi Lee,

As Russell says we need a bit more info on your setup and the aircraft involved but what you are describing sounds like the swing that can occur when you apply throttle in prop aircraft due to the torque effect of the propeller itself. This is a normal feature of flying prop aircraft in real life but sometimes it can be accentuated in FSX by having your realism sliders all the way over to the right. So you need to check the Torque and P-Factor sliders in the realism settings menu and if they are fully to the right then try reducing them and see if that helps.

Regards,

Bill
