January 2, 200818 yr I like the Ultralight in FSX. I mean, I like that kind of plane to do short VFR hops. But what I do not like is the look of it, specially the 'bar' you have in the middle of the screen all the time. It is so LOW-RES... Anyone knows if there are better (looking) Ultralights somewhere to be found?
January 3, 200818 yr I would like to know this too. The default VC for the ultralight is way behind the quality of the textures of most of the default fsx vc's.
January 3, 200818 yr There's Rick Piper's Aeroprakt A22 Foxbat: http://www.horizonsimulation.com/downloads.htm (first item) Three-axis rather than flexwing, but a very good microlight nonetheless.
January 3, 200818 yr This is one seriously great recommendation !Just installed it and took my first flight.. just wonderful !I like flying into a tiny airstrip CAM3, well modeled in the Victoria+ scenery, but the C172 is a bit much for the narrow and short runway.. although in real life, pilots do take their C172 in there. This ultralight is perfect, since I can come in at 50 kts and have control to spare..Thanks !!:9 Bert
January 3, 200818 yr Looks cool, and I will certainly try it (it's free!), but I was hoping for a 'open' Ultralight, like the default FSX one: that open model gives an extra er... thrill, as if you are really hanging up there in the air!
