September 27, 20241 yr Hi, is anybody here who has or had problems mit GSX bording/debording as well as loading/unloading? There are a lot of complaints at the so called "support" forum at FSDT, but so far no one from FSDT has any comment on it. Virtuali usual answer, "get an update" make it even more worst, at least for me. Re-installing a back up of the FSDT add-on-manager give me partially solution for the 737 only, but nothing for Airbus Peter
September 27, 20241 yr Moderator I saw the posts so when I started my flight in a PMDG 777 at LTAI with a jetway I watched the boarding carefully. Pax entered the aircraft via Exit 2 on the left. The green banner showed the progress. Seem fine to me. I haven't updated in a couple of months. Rather frustratingly there's no easy way to check version numbers. Do you get the problem consistently at both jetways and on the ramp with a bus bringing pax? Ray (Cheshire, England). I raised a support post through their official support forum weeks ago and no response from the developer. I did look at the log files and from what I saw GSX boarding is screwed up since the log files don't actually report what's been selected or actually going on in the sim.Given this, I have basically bypassed GSX because its broken at this time. Many of the P3D posts I have noticed are being ignored. A side note: I am looking at purchasing MSFS2024 as I feel its a state where commercial airliner flying is now possible, but with my experience with the lack of support from FSDT, I probably wont be buying any of their add-ons. September 28, 20241 yr I use GSX L2 for all of my flights, but I've also refused all FSDT updates since the MSFS release, as that seems to be the threshold when a lot of P3D bugs were (re-?)introduced. Thankfully mine is stable, but I'm sure I'm missing a few features. Not sure if this is kosher, but I have two GSX installer backups - one dated from 2018 ("v2.5.0.11") and one from 2020 ("v2.8.2" which I think is the "level 2" installer). If there is any interest in these old installers, I'm happy to share so long as that's not violating anything. Of course you'll still need to register the product with your serial, so I imagine that would be fine...? https://i.imgur.com/Yd03aSC.png Presumably any features added later would be 'unretrievable' with these old installers, because the act of updating would bring you all the way to the latest version (don't think you'll have the luxury to specify how far up the version tree you can go)... so I think the best I can offer is "old & stable" vs "new & unstable". Would be nice if there was an archived repo of older versions! September 28, 20241 yr Moderator It’s odd that my pax seem to be boarding okay but I can’t remember the last time I saw the prompt to run the update. The release notes here suggest I’m not running the latest version but why no prompt? Strange. https://www.fsdreamteam.com/couatl_liveupdate_notes.html Even if the boarding bit is broken I’d still use GSX as it’s such a brilliant addon. Anyone remember paying for FSCredits to give you these type of facilities at individual airports? I spent far more on that than the two GSX products where all updates have been free. September 28, 20241 yr Author Hi Ray, no sorry, I just checked with Bus Gate only. Will do with Gate Position later on today, but if you see the whole topic at FSDG I think there is no diff on Bus Gate or with a Jetty. Actually I´m sure that the FSX/P3D support is already finished, without officially anouncment. Peter
September 28, 20241 yr Author Just checked the FSDT Forum and wow: Virtuali req a log from a user! Maybe we can still expecting something regarding this problem Peter

Failing that the pax walk from the terminal building. No bus needed. I’ll read the topic but good news if virtuali is requesting a log. I don’t think they would end P3D support without a formal notice. Ray (Cheshire, England). September 28, 20241 yr Author Hi Ray, with "Bus Gate" I mean a outside parking where no Jetty and too far away to walk. Passenger normaly where driven by bus to that plane if they parking far away. Usually also Business Jets are served like this. Peter
September 28, 20241 yr Moderator Peter, those sound like Ramp parking positions. Aircraft parked on the apron well away from buildings. Ray (Cheshire, England). September 28, 20241 yr Author Ray, ok, different name for the same thing. So, lets hope FSDG find a solution for that kind of problem. Btw: I´m out until end of next week. Have a good on Peter
