October 23, 20241 yr You not alone there, flown yesterday night from Hannover to Kraków, 7800x3d/4080 Super and cpu was getting work out, strange thing once near Poland everything went back to normal. CPU utilisation was anything from 30-75% over germany, temps spikes, luckily I don't suffer stutters, UK is the same for me and US for example is smooth sailing. I have no idea what they done in that sim and what is causing the problem. I don't get this issue with other sim. While back I posted on msfs forum so did other users but no one found a solution. Both times I noticed this was using Fenix A320. It can't be related to settings as I would get this everwhere.

October 27, 20241 yr Author I’ve been doing most of my flying around Europe either over or to Germany lately to test this further, and I’ve been making some progress! I’ve found the potential culprit. Whenever I fly over, or fairly near to, Aerosoft’s EBBR scenery from London to Germany or further afield (e.g. Dubai or Singapore) my sim performance tanks and stutters are introduced that never recover and I’m forced to abandon the flight. It’s as if there’s a memory leak somewhere. If I fly across other parts of Germany I do see fairly poor performance but it recovers once I’ve left the area. Today, after uninstalling the EBBR scenery, I flew from EGLL to OMDB directly over Brussels and the performance was much better. Over Germany my FPS dropped to the mid-twenties but recovered again to 50-60 FPS once I’d moved on to Eastern Europe and beyond and was in the high forties by the time I arrived in Dubai. I’m hoping I’ve found the culprit now. I’ll do some more testing overflying Germany inbound from long haul flights to confirm.

Try dialing back TLOD way way down using one of the apps like DynamicLOD while over Germany it does help and if you're on high you won't notice it much. I even dial my native frame rate down to 30 during flight over German and these interventions help reduce the CPU cooking itself 🔥🔥🔥 RTSS allows one to change the frame lock on the fly literally. July 6, 2025Jul 6 Hi, I like, some simmers in this thread, have never been able to fly in or over Germany without massive degradation of performance in the sim... Finally found what was causing the issue for me. Mamu Designs Powerlines and Solarfarms, which I had installed from flightsim.to, as well as "We Love VFR"... Removed both entirely, and was able to do a trouble free flight in to Munich, Dusseldorf and Nurenberg for the first in maybe 3 years... no drop in performance at all... Now before everyone tells me, "I don't have that installed", I did and that is what worked for me... Hope this helps someone. Faisal Niazi
