FS9 Scenery in FSX

Featured Replies

So I see most FS9 sceneries work in FSX. I tried adding some sceneries from my FS9 Addon Scenery folder by leaving them in the FS9 directory and not copying to FSX Addon folder. Seems to work OK, my only question is - Does that slow down scenery loading, or should I make a copy in my FSX directory?Dave HinsonP.S. Also, exactly WHAT does the Acceleration Pack give you?

If it works good.. leave it as in one location. Thats what I do. Most of the photo sceneries from FS9 should work in FSX. However, they do perform less optimally than the ones that was developed for FSX using the new FSX techniques. Manny
