November 3, 20241 yr Hi all, found that the photogrammetry feature works very well at Chicago. And it makes a huge difference, looks much more realistic. So this is indeed an extraordinary feature compared with the other sims which all use a variation of autogen overlay. And it also seems to improve roads and railways. On the long run I assume they will make it work everywhere... The only addon active in these shots is a patch from .to to have the Sears Tower. Thank you very much for viewing! November 4, 20241 yr My hometown looks wonderful here, Andreas...🙂...And your pictures have done justice to it, the way I know it... In your #3 shot, The Lake Point Tower, that black, curved skyscraper, is the only one on the wrong side...🙂... (i.e., east side) of Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. I used to visit an acquaintance in one of the highest floors of it...while parts of it would be enveloped in fog and mist... Thanks for sharing your experience with PG around Chicago...!

Cheers, Calum Thank you very much Calum, and this is what I found, it looks almost like real world if the photogrammetry really works. If they manage to activate this system everywhere than it will be absolutely unrivaled. 4 hours ago, P_7878 said: My hometown looks wonderful here, Andreas...🙂...And your pictures have done justice to it, the way I know it... Thanks a lot P_7878, glad that you like to see your hometown in my shots! 🙂 Just found that my little hometown out in the country some miles north from Munich does not work so well. We don't even have our church in msfs....😙 PC: Ryzen 7 3700x AM4, 16 GB RAM, RTX 3060 12GB, Storage SSD 3TB, HDD 8TB, USB 8TB, 2 Screens, Win10-64 SIMs: FSX SE, P3d 3.4/4.5/6.1, Xplane 10/11/12, MSFS 2020/24, Aerofly FS 4

I will not change the hardware of my simulator until something breaks because it's a well-running computer. Never change a running machine. But I don't think it can really do msfs 2024. If nothing breaks I will perhaps build up a new rig but not in 2025, currently I have no desire to do that at all. It's too much work. Beside this, as soon as msfs 2024 is up we will have the situation of frequently updates again to fix it all and I am tired of that.
