November 18, 20241 yr Hi folks, So I have been following the news about MSFS2024 and am planning to purchase MSFS2024 via the Steam route at some stage, but today I wanted to remind myself of the pricing for the various versions and what's interesting, at least in Germany, only the Standard Edition is currently available in Steam! It appears this has to do with DLC content in Germany requiring an age suitability rating of the game for the target audience and only the Standard Edition has this right now. https://www.heise.de/en/news/Steam-Why-some-of-the-best-indie-games-will-soon-be-hidden-in-Germany-9960810.html I can confirm this is the case on Steam today where only the Standard Edition of MSFS2024 is available currently, so if you havent ordered yet and are planning to, make sure you are ordering the correct version if ordering from Germany. No one seems to know when the other MSFS2024 Editions will be available for Steam customers in Germany and whether this will change in the coming hours ahead of the launch. Stay tuned! November 18, 20241 yr Can confirm - I discovered the same thing when I tried to pre-install yesterday. What I don't understand is why the law doesn't allow titles without an age rating to be sold to adults at least. But I also know that, often enough, law does not have a lot to do with logic. I hope they still get a rating in before the launch. Otherwise, I'll be torn whether I should a) wait, b) get the standard version and plan to upgrade later (if that's possible - does anyone know?), or c) buy MSFS 2024 on the Xbox store.

I'm not sure sure which, the Albatross 111, the 404 Titan, the Seastar? 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
