Aurora Northern Lights flight

Featured Replies

There was thread on this topic a while back which I monitored with interest. Unfortunately it resulted in people agreeing that they had not seen the N. Lights yet in FSX.I am convinced that there was an actual "Aurora Flight" flight plan etc posted way back for FS9 which Idownloaded & used to regularly select from the FS9 Flights option. I am really keen to see the auoroa effects in FSX but am not technically gifted enough to know what the heck to do to create one!!Would one of the esteemed technically savvy members here at AVSIM either let me know how to create a flight that then at a set time/distance(??) activates the aurora_fx file. I know it must be possible, just need a bit of guidance or better still someone create and offer up in the Library. Many thanks

Found one if anybody is interested, here in the Avsim FS9 library. Search for alask_ff1. Designed for FS9 but works fine in my FSX.Happy flying !

Yes, immediately after take-off from Fairbanks at night.

This search produces no results:alask_ff1

You have to add the extension - alask_ff1.zipfb
