Did a quick test on MSFS2024 and it works like 2020.

A strange thing is that with ASFS/MSFS2024:  the rain is transformed into snow.

For example, I made a comparison with the METAR emitted by the LIBD apt that gave Rain\Showers with +17 C° (63F) that was correctly shown by ASFS2024 but the rain was displayed as snow while with only the real-time weather of MSFS2024 the rain is visible but only from the side windows of the plane but no drops are visible in front or on the windows of the plane.
