Is anyone actually playing FS2024 on an Xbox? 360 or One?

Featured Replies

Excuse my ignorance if this has been talked about elsewhere. I believe that Microsofts lucrative combo, Xbox and Gamepass, has heavily influenced the design of the new sim. Has the launch been smoother on the console than for pc users?

Is there anyone here on Xbox?

I also assume it will run on both the One and 360.

Bumping this just ONCE as it was of course buried in FS2024 posts.

I will assume that on the whole of AVSIM then that NOBODY is using one of the 2 target platforms for the new sim?

Interesting statistic if so as PC users have to struggle with control schemes and other user interfaces tailored to console is all.

I was interested to know if Xbox users HERE on AVSIM had a better launch than pc users mainly.

i think it runs on one with the streaming game pass only. no way in hell it'll run on the 360.

I thought it was only for the XBox X/S series of consoles?

I have tried it on "Xbox Series X" and it runs really well in my testing. It was smooth and graphics was very good. However, I had a couple of CTD on the Xbox. I did not experience a single CTD on the PC version so far though.

The older Xbox "One" from 2013 has gamepass cloud streaming, where the game runs on xbox "series s/x" hardware in the cloud and is streamed to the user. It worked decently for MSFS2020 on my 2013 xbox one. I didn't try it with MSFS2024 yet.

Thanks so much! Exactly the info I was after.

This is what I need to hear as only have XP in the 'other' camp!

I'd never consider an online sim for my PC but one day I could see it on a console for more casual flying/sightseeing.
