is there any word on timeline for next update / fixes?

Haven't seen anything but wanted to see in case I missed something. Given the poor launch, I would think by now they've had some days to pull together an urgent / top priority set of fixes...or are they going to wait a month? Seems strange not to hear any commitment from them about what is going to happen beyond the initial server upgrades.

According to someone on Reddit, there's an 8gb patch that was uploaded to the QA branch on Steam a few hours ago.
If it follows the same pattern as 2020 patches, it may or may not materialise soon. This is all of course speculative.

edit: I should clarify, it worked like that with 2020 patches - first an upload to the QA branch, then release like 8 hours later.

Also keep in mind a lot of the fixes might getting applied purely on the server-side without needing updates on the client side given the more cloud-centric nature of 2024, so we likely won't be hearing about those.

This is good to hear, I just wish there was a bit more communication from MSFS on the plan, priorities...maybe too soon to expect. I've tried it so far a few times, but still seems a bit "meh" for me...I am still experimenting with graphics settings. I think I need to install some decent payware aircraft like fenix or maybe flysimware's lear, which I think is working in 2024.

Apparently there is a developer stream tomorrow, the 27th, so we will see what they say.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

It's been pushed now to December 4th, as per here:

Must have just happened as I looked it up to confirm before I wrote that... I am not surprised, they are likely overloaded and taking a half day out for a stream at this point is likely not a good use of time.
