I'm always confused how people even for one second assume these are anything else but false positives. 

A Virus does not magically show up in an official download.

Although a false positive is more likely, it is possible for official downloads to contain malware and these things have happened.
Personally I would be cautious and wait for a fix or confirmation before using the software in that situation.

Still having issues with vPilot-

No start icons in START menu and still flagging on executable....
