November 29, 20241 yr Is it possible to import Simbrief generated flight plans into FS2024? And if so, how to accomplish that? Thanks Kind regards, Hans van WIjhe Acer Predator P03-640 2.10 Ghz Intel 12th Gen Core 17-12700F 64GB memory, Noctua NH-U9S Cooler, 1.02 TB SSD HD, 1.02 TB HD, NVidia Geforce RTX 3070 16GB Memory, Windows 11 (x64)
November 29, 20241 yr Very easy, even integrated in the EFB if you use the SimBrief Dispatch add on https://dispatch.simbrief.com/home/downloads

Found it. There is a save/load option in one of the EFB options. At first it is not visible, but after scrolling down the page it is at the end of that page. In order to load a plan as you do (using the save/load option): 1. you have to switch from MSFS2024 to the SimBrief site in a browser to create and generate a plan 2. save that plan as a pln file 3. switch back to MSFS 4. open the EFB in MSFS and go to the load option 5. find your downloaded pln and load it (quite immersion killing) 6. send the plan to the avionics. But with the SB EFB addon you can do everything from within the sim while not 'leaving' the cockpit. Which is far more immersive: 1. open SB in the EFB and create and generate a flight 2. send it to the avionics Done.

Thanks a lot, will give that one a try tomorrow in my next flight. November 29, 20241 yr Moderator I do it that way and I like it BUT double check your generated flightplan. I had several that had some wonky waypoints inserted. No rhyme or reason just a trip into neverland. Most plans were fine but several were not. RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

As I exclusively use Fenix aircraft, I was just planning on using one or a few flights using FS2024's ATC. I usually don't use ATC but at times it is good to remember how it was to be bossed around. With 2024's ATC I do need to have a flight plan loaded in the sim, hence my question how to go about this. After a few flights with ATC I will return to be flying free as a bird again, using the flight plan loaded in the Fenix EFB and MCDU, without being ordered when to clime or decent. I like to make those decisions myself :). Unreal? True, but it is my favorite way of using the simulator. With, of course, Active Sky.
