December 7, 20241 yr I'm flying the Inibuilds A320v2 in 2024. I fly on Vatsim quite frequently. I got FSLTL base models working ok with vatsim, but I want a United livery so the other vatsimmers see me as United. The 2020 liveries do not appear to work. Am I missing something? I just want a United livery that works with the airplane I'm flying. i9-14900 3.2GHz 64 GB Ram RTX4090
December 7, 20241 yr I should hold fire for a bit. Asobo changed the way liveries work - and many addon developers are playing catch-up. The folder structure is different, the textures are in a different format and the menu grouping logic is [wildly] different. Old[er] liveries that don't reference base MSFS aircraft work OK (with some .cfg tweaks to show properly in the menu) but how they work in multiplayer scenarios has also changed (I think!).
December 7, 20241 yr The livery situation for the INI planes in 24 is not good. You are correct, the 2020 ones don't work. That said, you don't need to worry about it for Vatsim. Other planes don't see what your livery is. Instead it model matches off your call sign and airframe. I don't know it works for airframes UAL does not really fly, like the a20n.

So other vatsimmers should see me as United assuming the model match works as you discuss? i9-14900 3.2GHz 64 GB Ram RTX4090

Vatsim model matching isn't at all an exact science and is usually worth a good laugh. It really depends on what the other user has for libraries. Most folks use FSLTl (not the injector, natch). I use that and some of the IVAO libraries for defunct airlines. But even then it's kinda a mess. The a400 shows as an a320 since I don't have a matching model. For general day to day airliners, it's pretty good. But, if for example you are flying one of the American a321 heritage libraries in the Fenix, other folks may see you as a generic AAL. If you do want to get an idea, if you catch a streamer on the ground spawn in next to them and when they pan out you can see what Vatsim thinks you are.
