I had this issue from day one.  Turning HAGS off seemed to fixed it for me.  Worth giving that a try.  Although I've turned it back on now and it still works.  Could also t be something in your NVIDIA settings?

I freaking LOVE this forum!!!!

I turned HAGS off.  I also turned off the defaulted Windows 11 'Optimisation for Windowed Games' that I've never seen before.  I booted up MSFS2020, I booted up BeyondATC, I went into VR and, blow me down with a feather, IT WORKED!!!!!

I don't know how, I don't know why, but it's worth an upvote for you @precog  🙂   Happy New Year and Good Flying!

That's strange, I'm using HAGS + optimizations now as I see better performances with my AMD GPU and the G2 and don't have any BATC issue.

I suppose it depends on each rig properties. I'm under 11 23H2.

I agree. Makes no sense - especially as all was good with HAGS on before Christmas. It went from great to unusable without me changing a thing...

OK - just achieved my first full successful flight with ATC since before Christmas.  😀

The HAGS off definitely sorted the BATC PTT delays and seizures but, even though my VRAM, RAM, FPS etc all remained within limits, every flight started off great but, usually shortly before final approach, then ended with a full MSFS2020 CTD

The (at last) successful and VERY satisfying flight was maybe a combination of all or any of:

- Keeping HAGS Off

- Turning the rolling cache on (I've never had to use that in MSFS2020) and doing a cache-filling dry run of the route without BATC

- Updating AutoFPS to the latest version

- Changing to what I guessed might be a useable but less busy server

- Leaving Live Traffic on in BATC but setting the sliders down to 1

- Fewer cloud gamers at that time of day on that server?

No crashes and a fantastically immersive flight.  The best bit was that a 'live' Jet2.com had just taken off as I approached the runway hold position.  When I was give the permission to depart, the Tower added, 'Be careful of possible jet wash.'  Absolutely splendid.

Later this evening, I'll try it again and see if I can get two successes in a row!

Hmmm.. thanks for the feedback... i more than often get a BATC crash before the finish of a flight... so ill try turning down the traffic slider rtc

Enjoy!

Well, I have indeed now had two successful full flights with good BATC response and MSFS2020 not crashing.  I can't be absolutely sure which of the various things above made the difference - or maybe a bit of all of them...

But the main thing is that I seem to be back with BATC and MSFS2020 both behaving themselves  😀

Long may it continue!
