December 31, 20241 yr Triggered by a member post, here, I thought, I would take out the FSW C414AW today for one last time in 2024 (also to mark my last FS2024 flight of this year...And who knows what awaits us in the SIM World in 2025...🙂...to be seen...but always hoping here for better things to come...while also keeping the perspective that this hobby of ours is just one small piece of the immense jigsaw puzzle...that is our own lives and events...🙂...) ... Anyway, while perusing my MSFS "Library" contents (as the Marketplace still remains shuttered with that perpetual "Coming Soon" sign...🙂...), I came across the handcrafted scenery, BravoAirSpace's rendition of Santo Domingo's Las Americas International airport (MDSD). So, I enabled this bit of scenery (aka allowed "Streaming") into my Xbox/MSFS2024 (see my final 3 screenshots of this airport, below). And, for my aircraft of choice, I also enabled my MSFS2020 Payware (FSW) Cessna Chancellor C414AW, an a/c I have flown many times in MSFS2020. Quick conclusion: It flew very well for me today in MSFS2024 without any difficulties. So, here we go, as I lift off southward from MDSD Rwy 17 (see my EFB Map), then making a 360 degrees full turn, over the Caribbean Sea, to fly northward, across this island nation, tracking along the ridges and peaks of the mountain ranges in the central region. These imposing mountains are the highest in the Caribbean nations, including the tallest peak of the entire Caribbean. I've finally landed back on Santo Domingo's ILS Rwy 17. The C414AW performed my (today's) flight and touchdown without a blemish....to be remembered as my final flight in MSFS2024...in 2024....🙂... Hope you enjoy this collection of images...!
