January 1, 20251 yr If you mean the package you link, that's is just the DirectX redistributable files. They are often packaged and silently installed with applications that need them, so you don't need that package in and of itself. If you can launch the application, you got them. January 1, 20251 yr I remember when DX12 became a thing many years ago at this stage. At that time we where promised major improvements in Frame rates and visuals. None of that has been delivered. Any game I have ever played where I had the option to run it in DX11 mode or DX12 mode, either I couldn't see any difference or DX11 looked and performed better.
