Hi guys,

Firstly, Happy New Year to you all.

I have now downloaded and installed MSFS2024 and it is on a separate drive all on it's own, a large M2. drive .

I use the excellent addon linker in 2020 and understand it is compatible with 2024 now. When setting it up for 2024 can I just point it to all the folders I have created for 2020, EG Aircraft, Scenery etc. or do I have to create separate folders for each sim?

Hello @davenicoll, yes you can use the old folders like @Farlis said.

if you share the same folders and have some incompatible addons, i suggest you use the new visibility feature to hide the non working ones (in al2020 you can hide the ones that only work with v2024, and in AL2024 you can hide the ones that only work with v2020). See pic in the thread below for more info

This is also very important if you have some addons that have the same folder name but are different (for example fenix airbus for 2020 and fenix airbus for 2024), just hide the one not matching with the version of the sim you are managing inside AL and it will get rid of possible conflicts.
