I have just installed FSX on my computer having changed from FS9..I am getting equal if not better FPS from FSX....They are running between 35 to 60 and drop to a minimum of 15 on the very odd occassion...Sounds reasonable you may think.but....even while running at the highest FPS the frames are sticking to the point of stopping...anybody any ideas what may be causing this? or coiuld I be getting a false reading from the FPS mete(shift z z) Thank you

It is not uncommon to experience "stutters" when frame rates are high. You will need to experiment to find the cause. If it occurs when ATC speaks, your sound quality seting is too high for your system. Otherwise lower sliders to see if there is any difference.
