Which one is your working livery? I assume it is one of the default CLS 747-300 liveries?

The "Fallback" folder is usually in with the default aircraft folder and I think, should just be labeled Texture.

Check the differences in the model.cfg  I think that will help in the cockpit textures issue!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

I bought the CLS 747 many years ago but sent it to my virtual hangar as the systems were not realistic enough for me (I use the iFly 747 instead). Tonight however I put the CLS version back into the FSX airplanes folder and downloaded and installed the same Swissair livery (HB-IGF). I had a similar problem with a black cockpit and I discovered the issue was caused by the lack of a texture.cfg file in the texture.SWR_HB-IGF folder. I simply copied a texture.cfg file from one of the 747-300 liveries that worked and my cockpit tectures were restored!

Hope this helps,

Bill

I tried putting a texture file form a working livery into the Swissair livery folder and now the livery dissapeared completely

The texture.cfg file that i put in to the texture.SWR_HB-IGF folder and which worked for me reads as follows:

[fltsim]

fallback.1=../../CLS_747_textures_v15

If the text in the file you put in is different it might be worth modifying it so that it reads as above.
